Photozines

For some time now, I have been looking for a medium that could bring my images to life. The idea of the photozine, a blend of photography and magazine, quickly became an obvious choice: a short, intimate and thematic format, opening new paths of connection and sharing with you.

A simple, tangible object that extends the gaze and reveals the very purpose of my work: exploring the relationships between body, light and transformation.

But what exactly is a photozine?

It is a photographic booklet with a stapled binding and a soft cover, conceived as a small edition artist’s publication. Each issue is dedicated to a singular theme and released quarterly, offering a steady rhythm of creation and encounter.

Self-publishing as an obvious choice

I chose self-publishing. A choice that is both artistic and personal: the desire to create a coherent, sincere and independent object that extends my visual universe and gives form to the initial intention.

The characteristics of the photozines

Double-sided printing on 180 g/m² glossy photo paper, offering a luminous rendering that enhances the photographs.

Two formats available:

  • Large format A4 (21 × 29 cm)
  • Small format A5 (15 × 21 cm)

28 pages per issue, with an average of more than 20 photographs, including several unpublished images.

Immersive double-page spreads, equivalent to 40 × 30 cm prints in the A4 edition.

The storage box

An A4 storage box, conceived as a case for the collection, will be included only if the first funding milestone is reached.

A standalone object, both aesthetic and durable, designed to hold the first four issues of this photographic adventure.
